BUSINESS NAME: Ready Money
SUSPECT: Unknown
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Black male adult, early 20’s, 5-08, thin build,
Black hooded sweatshirt, black pants
RESUME OF INCIDENT:
The suspect entered the Ready Money business at 981 Broadway in the City of El Cajon. He displayed a six-inch butcher knife to the clerk and demanded money. The employee complied with his orders and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. A citizen saw the suspect running from the store and followed him. He watched the suspect jump a wall between Broadway and Peach, and continue running east on Peach.
Officers arrived within one minute of receiving the call. An extensive search was conducted, but the suspect was not located.
