TYPE OF INCIDENT: Residential Burglary

NEWS UPDATE
El Cajon – On Tuesday morning at about 10:45 am, two teenaged burglary suspects were taken into custody after a lengthy search by El Cajon Police. The two suspects were surprised by the resident who returned home after being out for a brief period. The suspects ran from the home while the victim called police.
El Cajon Police officers arrived and began searching the area for the suspects. Officer Bob Wining received information from construction workers in the area, that two subjects matching the burglars descriptions were seen nearby. Officer Wining found the two suspects at a nearby liquor store and determined they were involved in the crime. Both were arrested and property from the burglary was recovered. The two male juvenile suspects were taken to Juvenile Hall.
