BUSINESS NAME: CVS Pharmacy
SUSPECT: Jodi Lynne Boyd, 12/7/75
El Cajon resident
RESUME OF INCIDENT:
The El Cajon Police Department received a 911 call regarding a robbery that had just occurred at the CVS Pharmacy located at 2760 Navajo Road. The suspect in the case went to the pharmacy counter, simulated a handgun, and demanded oxycontin. One of the pharmacy employees picked up the phone to call the store manager, at which time the suspect jumped over the counter and took the phone.
The suspect fled the store without obtaining the medication, and was followed by the store manager. The suspect walked across the parking lot to a Jack in the Box restaurant where he discarded some of his clothing. As officers arrived, a witness identified the suspect and he was arrested. The suspect, Jodi Lynne Boyd, 12/7/75, was booked into San Diego County Jail and charged with Robbery.
