TYPE OF INCIDENT:    Armed Robbery

DATE AND TIME:    December 6, 2010, 6:10 PM

LOCATION:       Cricket Wireless Store
         1110 Broadway, El Cajon

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:   #1 - White male, 18-25 years, 5-10, 150-160,
black shirt and pants, white shoes, black hat with white emblem on front (possibly “SD”), black gloves

#2 – Hispanic male, 18-25 years, 5-10, 160-170,
gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black shoes, gray gloves

RESUME OF INCIDENT:

On December 6, 2010, at approximately 6:10 PM, the El Cajon Police Department received a 911 call of a possible robbery at the Cricket Wireless store located at 1110 Broadway. The reporting party told the call taker that she had seen two males wearing masks run from the store. She said one of the men was carrying an item that she believed was a handgun. Officers were immediately dispatched to the store.

As officers were arriving on-scene, the clerk from the store called 911 to report that he had just been robbed. The suspects threatened the clerk with a gun and demanded money. They also broke into a storage cabinet and stole numerous wireless phones. The suspects were seen running to the rear of the store, where they may have gotten into a waiting vehicle. There is no vehicle description. Officers searched the area for the suspects, but they were not located.
