TYPE OF INCIDENT: Bank Robbery
DATE OCCURRED: August 20, 2010, at approximately 9:07am
LOCATION OF OCCURRENCE: Wells Fargo Bank, 475 Fletcher Parkway, El Cajon
LOCATION OF ARREST: N/A
SUSPECT: White Male Adult, Late twenties to early thirties, face was unshaven and a thin goatee, prescription type eye glasses, black ball cap with a white logo, white and black camouflage type sweatshirt (No Further Deatails).
RESUME OF INCIDENT:
On August 20, 2010 at approximately 9:07am, the suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 475 Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon. The suspect approached the teller with a note demanding money. Once the suspect obtained an undetermined amount of money, he left the bank towards Parkway Plaza shopping mall.
A red dye pack activated and discharged as the suspect was fleeing on foot towards the north main entrance of the mall. The suspect entered the mall and responding officers began searching the area. Officers were unable to locate the suspect and the investigation is continuing. There were no weapons seen and no reported injuries.
