RESUME OF INCIDENT:
On June 24, 2010, the El Cajon Police Department conducted an undercover operation targeting males soliciting acts of prostitution from women on the streets of El Cajon. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the operation. A total of 14 individuals were arrested during the six hour operation.
Upon conviction of prostitution related chares, arrestees may be placed on geographic probation which prohibits them from certain activities in specified areas of El Cajon. Members of the public are encouraged go to the El Cajon Police Department’s website, www.elcajonpolice.org, to view photographs of individuals currently on geographic probation.
The El Cajon Police Department routinely conducts prostitution related operations targeting pimps, prostitutes and their customers.
