TYPE OF INCIDENT: Bank Robbery
OCCURRED 05/25/10 at 0945
LOCATION OF OCCURRENCE: Chase Bank, 866 N. Johnson Ave., El Cajon
RESUME OF INCIDENT:
At approximately 0945 hrs., the Chase Bank at 866 N. Johnson was robbed by black male adult, 5’8” to 6’0”, 180– 200 lbs., 20-25 yrs, armed with a folding knife. The suspect was seen by witnesses walking around the bank several times prior to entering. Upon entering the bank, the suspect immediately went behind the bank counter and confronted a bank employee. He displayed a knife and demanded cash. After receiving an undetermined amount of cash, he fled out the west doors of the bank in a westerly direction. It is unknown if he continued on foot or if he used a vehicle to flee the scene. No one was injured as a result of this robbery and the investigation is continuing.
