LOCATION OF OCCURRENCE: 500 N. Mollison

SUSPECT: Unknown


SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Hispanic male, medium height and weight, black hooded sweatshirt.


RESUME OF INCIDENT:
On May 17, 2010, at about 8:40 PM, the El Cajon Police Department received a 911 call regarding a shooting in the area of 500 N. Mollison. Officers were directed to a group of individuals who were seen running from the area of the shooting. When these subjects were contacted, one was found to have a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

The victim was transported to the hospital where he was treated for a non-life-threatening wound. He is in stable condition and is expected to be released later tonight.

A search of the area was conducted, but the suspect was not located. He is described as a Hispanic male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. He was last seen running southbound on Mollison towards Madison. Anyone with information about this case should contact the El Cajon Police Department at (619) 579-3311.
