RESUME OF INCIDENT: The El Cajon Police Department is looking for the public’s assistance in solving various active criminal investigations. Since 2007 the department has posted photographs of wanted, unidentified suspects on the Police Department’s website at http://www.elcajonpolice.org/OpenCases. These pictures were taken by surveillance cameras during the commission of actual crimes, and several cases have already been solved based on information obtained from community members. Citizen’s can contact the El Cajon Police Department directly at the phone number listed on the individual case, or they can call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477. Anyone providing information which leads to an arrest could receive up to a $1,000 reward and remain anonymous. The El Cajon Police Department is proud of the cooperative relationships we’ve built working with our community and its members. This is a unique opportunity to continue those efforts.
