SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:
RESUME OF INCIDENT: Officer Travis Howard responded to a radio call of a loud music disturbance. When he arrived he was met at the door by a resident who invited him inside. As Officer Howard started to enter the home a large pit bull terrier charged and attacked him. The dog bit Officer Howard on the inner right thigh and right bicep. The dog was impounded and will be held in quarantine. Officer Howard was transported to the hospital and treated for his injuries. The resident was dog-sitting the animal and did not know the dogs temperament. No charges were filed.
