TYPE OF INCIDENT: Attempt Homicide
DATE OCCURRED: July 11, 2009, at approximately 3:30am
LOCATION OF OCCURRENCE: 1000 Block of Leslie Rd., El Cajon
RESUME OF INCIDENT:
On July 11, 2009, at approximately 3:30am, the victims were leaving a party in the 1000 block of Leslie Rd., when a verbal confrontation erupted between themselves and another group of subjects. The altercation was defused and both groups began leaving in their respective vehicles. As the victims were getting into their car, which was parked on the street, multiple gun shots were fired in their direction. Several of the rounds went into the victim’s vehicle and struck two occupants. The two gunshot victims were driven to a local hospital where they were being treated for non-life threatening injuries. At the time of this press release, there is no suspect information and the investigation is continuing.
