SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:


RESUME OF INCIDENT:
Officers locate an occupied stolen vehicle. The driver fails to yield to the officer’s red lights and siren and speeds away. Officers pursue and loose sight of the stolen vehicle. Minutes later, the vehicle is located at Gillespie Field. The driver had failed to negotiate a turn and crashed through a fence onto airport property and into a hanger. The driver had left the vehicle and was found hiding in the hanger. He suffered moderate injuries and was treated and booked into County Jail. The accident caused damage to a vintage plane and vintage car that were stored inside the hanger.
