SUSPECT: Joseph Wahid NAOUMI, dob 10/19/85


SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Iraqi male, 5-08, 150, Brown, Blue


RESUME OF INCIDENT:

Between July 11, 2008 and September 11, 2008, a series of robberies was occurring mainly at 7/11 stores in El Cajon. In the beginning of the series, the suspect in the robberies used a knife to threaten victims and take money. Towards the end, the suspect began using a handgun to threaten the victims. Detective Chris Baldwin and Det. Agt. Richard Rouleau began investigating the cases and soon found that the cases listed above were linked. Detectives were able to identify Joseph Wahid NAOUMI, 10/19/85, as a suspect in these cases.

On October 3, 2008, detectives obtained a search warrant for Naomi’s residence in Rancho San Diego. Upon service of the search warrant, Naomi was contacted and subsequently arrested. Naomi was arrested for a total of eight cases of armed robbery and booked into San Diego County Jail.
