TYPE OF INCIDENT: Missing Person – Possible Abduction
DATE AND TIME OCCURRED: July 30, 2008, 11:00 PM – July 31, 2008, 1:30 AM
LOCATION OF OCCURRENCE: 1374 El Rey Court, El Cajon
MISSING PERSON: Frances Jean Agan, 12/12/86
PERSON OF INTEREST: Maynard Whitfield, 2/07/88
DESCRIPTION: Black male adult, 5’10”, 145 lbs., black hair, brown eyes
RESUME OF INCIDENT:
The El Cajon Police Department and the California Department of Justice Major Crimes Team are continuing the investigation into the disappearance of Frances Jean Agan, 12/12/86, from her home in El Cajon. Agan’s vehicle was located last night in the 1300 block of Struedle Court in the Nester area of the City of San Diego. This is near Whitfield’s home. According to witnesses, the vehicle was seen parked on the street the morning after Agan was reported missing. It was not in that location the previous night.
Investigators believe Whitfield and Agan may be in the Nester area. There is reason to believe that Agan may have been abducted and is being held against her will. Anyone with information on Agan’s or Whitfield’s whereabouts should contact the El Cajon Police Department at (619) 579-3311 or call 911.
