RESUME OF INCIDENT:
On June 25, 2008, the El Cajon Police Department’s Special
Investigations Unit conducted an undercover operation
targeting individuals engaged in prostitution activity. A
total of five people were arrested as a result of the
operation.
Upon conviction of prostitution related charges, arrestees
may be place on geographic probation. When placed on
geographic probation, they are ordered to refrain from
certain activities in specified areas of El Cajon. Member
of the public may go to the El Cajon Police Department’s
web site, www.elcajonpolice.org, to view photographs of
individuals on geographic probation.
The El Cajon Police Department routinely conducts
undercover prostitution operations targeting pimps,
prostitutes and their customers. Operations such as this
one will continue on a periodic basis.
