RESUME OF INCIDENT:  
On April 24, 2008 the El Cajon Police Department’s Special 
Investigations Unit conducted an undercover prostitution 
detail targeting female street prostitutes and their pimps. 
A total of ten people were arrested as a result of the 
operation.  
 
Upon conviction of prostitution related charges, arrestees 
may be placed on geographic probation. When placed on 
geographic probation, they will be ordered to refrain from 
certain activities in specified areas of El Cajon. Members 
of the public may go to the El Cajon Police Department web 
site, www.elcajonpolice.org, to view photographs of 
individuals on geographic probation.  
 
The El Cajon Police Department routinely conducts 
undercover prostitution enforcement targeting pimps, 
prostitutes and their customers. Operations such as this 
one will continue on a periodic basis.
