SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:
RESUME OF INCIDENT:
The El Cajon Police Department and the San Diego County
Sheriff’s Department have been working together on an
investigation involving a burglary series throughout the
County. On March 21, 2008, detectives conducted a search
at the residence of James Keith Beckwith located at 10800
Woodside Avenue #185, in Santee. Detectives found a large
amount of stolen property at this address and ultimately
arrested Beckwith on charges including Possession of Stolen
Property, Possession of Counterfeit Money, Possession of
Burglary Tools, as well as narcotics and firearms related
charges.
In an attempt to identify the owners of the property
recovered during the search, photographs of the property
have been placed on the El Cajon Police Department’s web
site. If victims of thefts observe property on the web
site that they believe belongs to them, they should contact
the law enforcement agency to which they reported their
theft. Victims who reported crimes to ECPD should contact
