EL CAJON POLICE DEPT. – PRESS RELEASE INFORMATION SHEET
TYPE OF INCIDENT: Attempt Homicide
OCCURRED 03/02/08 0056 hrs
LOCATION OF OCCURRENCE: 1371 E. Lexington Ave El Cajon
RESUME OF INCIDENT:
On 03/02/08 officers responded to a radio call of a several
gun shots being heard in the area of a party at 1371 E.
Lexington. While officers responded they received
information of a dark SUV style vehicle leaving the area at
a high rate of speed. They located and contacted the
vehicle. It was determined that the single victim of this
incident was in the vehicle. The victim was transported to
Sharp Hospital and treated for a single gunshot wound.
The suspect description in this case is of a black male
adult, 6-feet and 170 lbs., possibly wearing a white tank
top. This case is be investigated by detectives of the
Crimes of Violence Unit. Any one who has information
