Passing Fictitious $100 bills

TYPE OF INCIDENT: Passing fictitious $100 dollar bills 
 
 
DATE AND TIME OCCURRED: 2-19-08 @ 12:55 pm 
 
 
LOCATION OF OCCURRENCE: 475 N. Magnolia 
 
 
BUSINESS NAME: Perry’s Café 
 
 
SUSPECT: Eric Ahn Jr. 27 yrs , El Cajon resident 
 
 
 
RESUME OF INCIDENT: The suspect entered Perry’s Café 
restaurant to eat and attempted to pay for his meal with a 
counterfeit $100 bill. The suspect was recognized by an 
employee to have passed another bad bill recently at the 
same restaurant. When confronted the suspect fled on foot 
and was located by police nearby with additional fictitious 
bills. A check of the suspect’s motel room revealed 
computer equipment and other evidence linking him to the 
crime. Secret Service Agents assisted in this 
investigation. The suspect was booked into county jail for 
Burglary and Forgery of US Currency.
