TYPE OF INCIDENT: 245 Stabbing
DATE AND TIME OCCURRED: 2-11-08 @ 8:20 pm
LOCATION OF OCCURRENCE: 500 Blk of Wayne Ave
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: WMA, 20’s wearing dark clothes and
carrying a backpack
RESUME OF INCIDENT: Victim was confronted outside his house
by the suspect who was loitering in the area. They began to
argue which led into a fight. During the fight the suspect
stabbed the victim in the abdomen. The suspect fled on foot
after the stabbing. The victim was transported to Sharp
hospital by fire department paramedics for a severe wound.
The victim is expected to survive his injuries.
Investigation continuing.
